Chai Recipe

Description

A wonderfully spiced Indian tea that will warm you anytime.

Ingredients

1 c Milk (preferably organic--can use soy or alternative)
1 c WATER
4   Cloves
4   cardamom pods (crushed so the husks open)
1   Teabag (any tea like an Orange Pekoe or Earl Grey will do )
1   Cinnamon Stick (whole stick)
2 t Sugar (can be modified to taste)

Notes

The spice and sweetness can be adjusted to one's specific taste preferences.

Instructions

1) In a teapot or small cooking pot, boil the milk, water, cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves
2) Once it has been brought to a boil, add the teabag and continue boiling for a few minutes
3) Strain and add sugar to taste
4) Enjoy!
