More often than not, people with CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) have a Vata-Pitta or Pitta-Vata constitution according to Ayurvedic healing.

If you are a Pitta-Vata type, then to alleviate chronic fatigue, digestion must be improved and proper, restful sleep must be restored using herbs and better sleeping practices. Initially you may have to spend weeks increasing the hours of sleep to restore the body and recover from sleep deprivation syndrome before alleviating the CFS. Sleep between 10 pm and 6 am to allow the body to properly eliminate toxins, practice Ayurvedic breathing exercises and yoga, and follow a diet high in fruits and vegetables and other food that is easy to digest.
