BAD BREATH
Bad breath can be an embarassing situation for anybody. Depending on the cause there are many treatments. In this tip I will focus on the most common occurrence which is eating or drinking something with a strong odor like garlic or alcohol.
Some tips are common sense like brushing your teeth or rinsing your mouth several times afterwards. You can chew a small peicce of lemon rind as this will help kill the bacteria that causes bad breath. A few fennel seeds, cardamom seeds or even cloves will get rid of the odour as well. Being able to scrape your tongue is always a good idea too as a lot of odor causing particles reside there. Generally speaking a copper tongue scraper is best, especially for Kapha types. In more chronic cases like Halitosis there are other options depending on the root cause be it gum disease or a buildup of ama.
