Wash Your Face

Wash Your Face!

Like your mother told you to do. Ayurvedic hygiene is very specific, simple to do, and extremely beneficial. According to the ancient practices of Ayurveda, keeping clean is of the utmost importance to good health.

You should shower, or bathe, at least twice per day, wear only clean clothes, washing them after one use, and wash your face, hands and feet often—before leaving the house, when returning to the house, before eating, and before meditation or yogic practice, etc.

Wash your face, specifically, several times per day to prevent acne and pimples (typical of Pitta dosha constitution) by removing dirt and grime easily accumulated throughout your day. This also brings about a peaceful mind, and refreshing feeling.
